I've been a carpenter my whole life. It's not what I do - it's who I am. My name is Jimmy Ballard. I'm the CEO of Orlando Custom Cabinets, but my story starts with a hammer in my hand and sawdust on my boots.
A Family Trade
My father, Jim Ballard, founded Ballard Finishing back in 1989. We started with finish carpentry—the detailed work that most people never notice until it's done wrong. Crown molding. Baseboards. Wainscoting. Custom doors.We built our reputation on doing what we said and getting the details right.
Over the years, we grew into custom cabinetry and eventually into full-scale home building with Ballard Custom Homes. We've served Central Florida and Vero Beach for over 35 years and earned an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
The Next Chapter
Orlando Custom Cabinets is the culmination of everything we've learned. Three generations of craftsmanship distilled into one mission: building the finest custom cabinets in Orlando.
My son Billy works alongside me now. Same values. Same attention to detail. Same commitment to quality and keeping our clients happy.
